30. NPF-3 FOR DAVIS-EESSE !iUCLEAR P0'iER STATIOil, UHIT HO.1 The Nuclear Regulatory Com::ission has issued the enclosed Anendnent
10. 1 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-3 which is effective as of the date of issuance. Amendment No.1 revises the Technical Specifications Appendix A to the Facility Operating License to allow decay heat recoval train pump switching operations for the purpose of testing in facility ocerational " odes 3, 4 and 5.

The license is amended by esking the appropriate changes to Specification 3.4.1 on page 3/4 4-2 of Appendix A to the license.

'de have determined that Amendment No. I does not authorize a change in effluent types or total amounts nor an increase in power level and will not result in any significant environmental im::act. Faving nade this determination, we have further concluded that the amendment involves an action which is insignificant from the standooint of environmental impact and, pursuant to 10 CFR Section 51.5(d)(4), that an environmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with the issuance of this amendment.
