This refers to your letter dated March 7,1980, in response to our letter dated
February 12, 1980.
Thank you for informing us of the corrective and preventive action documented
in your letter.
These actions will be examined during a subsequent inspection
of your licensed program.
With regard to Item 2.a., based on telephone discussions between Mr. R. L.
Nimitz of this office and Mr. D. Turner of your staff on March 21, 1980, as
an additional corrective step, Radiation Protection Procedure 915.5 will be
revised to include specific guidance for sampling of potential sources of air-
borne radioactive materials.
Pending final review and approval of this proce-
dure by your staff on April 1, 1980, a Temporary Change Notice (TCN) will esta-
blish and implement this guidance.
