1200 CST Unit 1 Identification and Description of Occurrence:

Engineering personnel noted during surveillance review incorrect flow readings. Liquid radwaste ef fluent line flow monitor 0-FI-77-42 was declared inoperable and codified.

Conditions Prior to Occurrence:

Unit 1 initial fuel loading in progress.

Action specified in the Technical Specification Surveillance Requirements cet due to inoperable equiprent.

Flow rates were estimated once per 4 hours4.62963e-5 days <br />0.00111 hours <br />6.613757e-6 weeks <br />1.522e-6 months <br /> during discharge of liquid wastes as required by action 27 of Table 3.3-12 under LCO 3.3.3.9.

Apparent Cause of Occurrence:

Inoperable flow rate monitor.

Analysis of Occurrence:

There was no hazard to the public heilth or safety.

Corrective Action

The flow instrument was modified and returned to service.
