BSEP Unit i 2 Event Date 2-29-30 The circuit affected is part of the trip circuit for the 2A M/G set.

When the recirculation pump trip breaker opens, the 52AX relay is deenergized, thus trip-

~

ping the M/G set breaker. Power to the 52AX relay logic was off, for personnel safety, when the' relay was connected to the trip logic, thus giving a false indication that the pump trip breaker had. opened, and tripping the M/G set breaker.

A temporary revision to the special test procedure was incorporated so that the test could be completed. A permanent revision will be incorporated to ensure that the 52AX relay is energized for future testing.
