The auxiliary building vent system gaseous effluent monitor sampler flow rate monitor was made inoperable 0900 3/11/80. For the next 10 hours1.157407e-4 days <br />0.00278 hours <br />1.653439e-5 weeks <br />3.805e-6 months <br /> and 20 minutes no flow estimates were performed as required by LCO 3.3.3.10 ACTION 33.

(SI 470.5 was not performed.) Portable sampling equipment was installed as required by ACTION 36.

Grab samples were being obtained as required by ACTION 34.

Conditions Prior to Occurrence:

Unit 1 on Mode 6.

Action specified in the Technical Specification Surveillance Requirements met due to inoperable equipment. Describe.

N/A Apparent Cause of Occurrence:

Misunderstanding of Technical Specification requirements.

Analysis of Occurrence:

There was no hazard to the public health or safety.
