The enclosed report of a CO inspection conducted on December 7-10, 1971, is forwarded for your information.
One area of concern to CO is the fact that the seismic classification for the main steam lines, upstream of the turbine stop valve, has been changed from seismic Class I to Class III. You may wish to pursue this matter in greater detail, and advise us if this change is acceptable to the staff.
