a sample emmination of one valve for each pattern.. This approach does not eliminate the follaeing concerns:

Eheh valve is indivia=11y cast, and subjoet to individual casting problems.
Measurements made in the field indicated that in several instance, the ID of the valve was not conrentrie with the CD of the valve, and the degree of essentrisity was'not sufficiently constant to promote.,
confidence in a ---aling program. Some of the valves measured, although reasonably consentrie, had thin walls in various areas, the cause for which was not readily apparent.
2.
The degree of confidence required for the safety and reliability of all the valves within the primary pressure boundary appears to dictate that each valve vill have in be measured and documented that the wall thiehsee meets the design requirusents. It might be possible for the licenses to transfer this responsibility to his valve vendor for all those valves not yet delivered.
