Gentlemen:
This refers to the inspection conducted by R. C. Parker and L. L. Beratan
on September 25, 1972, of the activities authorized by AEC Construction
Permit No. CPPR-51 for the Crystal River 3 facility at Crystal River,
Florida, and to discussions held with Messrs. Bennett, Kleinman, and
others during the conduct of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are identified in the attached
RO Inspection Report No. 50-302/72-4. Within these areas, the inspection
consisted of se ective examinations of procedures, interviews with plant
personnel and observations by the inspectors.

Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or safety items were
identified.
It is our understanding that FPC will keep us advised of repair progress
on the reactor building cylindrical concrete structure as described in
-
the Management Interview section of the attached inspection report.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the AEC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2,
Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and the
enclosed inspection report will be placed in the AEC's Public Document
Room.
If this report contains any information that you (or your contractors)
believe to be proprietary, it is necessary that you make a written appli-
cation within 20 days to this office to withhold such information from
