O l The valves were immediatelv reopened and the system returned to nomal.

It is be-I lieved that these valves isolated earlier in the day when a Group 6 isolation PT was t

,,,,yg performed. This PT was revised to nctify the operator that these RIP valves must be l

, y reset and reopened upon completing the PT.

These RIP valves were recently modified l

to respond to a Group 6 isolation.

LER CONTINUATION -- Ro# 2-80-22 Tacility: BSEP Unit # 2 Event Date February 6,*1980 The engineering procedure for plant modifications has recently been revised to require that all procedure changes required as a result of the modification be identified and revised before the plant modification is made operational. All other PT's that give a Group 6 isolation will be reviewed and revised as re-quired to ensure that total operability is achieved following the PT.
