APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION License No. CPPR-108 Georgia Power Company Based on the results of the NRC inspection conducted on October 18-20, 1978, it appears that certain of your activities were not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below.
These items have been categorized as described in our correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
10 CFR 50, Appendix B, Criterion XV, as implemented by Vogtle Nuclear Plant PSAR paragraph 17.1.15, states in part that " Measures shall be established to control material, parts, or components which do not conform to requirements in order to prevent their inadvertent use or installation.
These measures shall include, as appropriate, procedures for identification, documentation, segregation.
Contrary to the above, nonconforming liquid penetrant dye was noted to be in the same pallet with other conformine material.
In addition, nonconforming k'estingrouse supplied valves were noted to be stored in the same racks as valves not identified to be nonconforming.
This is a deficiency.
