o lThe cause of the failure was instrument drift. All locking screws and adiustment de-I i

[ vices were found to be securely tightened and in proper workinn order. All wit chna l

[were recalibrated and 1cft in satisfactory condition. As a result of these problems. 1 i

[ plant modifications have been written to replace these instruments with an analon l

i 3

l instrumentation system during the 1980 refueling outage.
