S. Atomic Energy Commission (the Comission) has issued Amendment No. 3 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-50 issued to Metropolitan Edison Ccmpany, Jersey Central Power and Light Company and Pennsylvania Electric Company, for operation of Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1, located in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. The amendment is effective as of its date of issuance.
The amendment removes a temporary condition from the license regarding the contaircent spray additive tanks. This amendment relates to radiological safety matters previously considered but does not involve a significant hazards consideration.
For further details with respect to this action, see (1) the licensee's letter dated June 17,1974, and (2) the Comission's related Safety Evaluation, dated June 24, 1974 All of these are available for public inspection at the Comission's Public Document Room,1717 H Street, N. W., Washington, D.
