Hood Systems Safety Branch Involved: Reactor Systams Branch Descriptien of Review: Acceotance Review Requested Cccoletien Dace: September 27, 1977 Review Status: Complete The Reactor Systems Branch has reviewed sections 1.5, 3.5.1.2, 4.5, 5.2.2, 5.2.5, 5.4.1, 5.4.2, 5.a.3, 5.4.7, 5.4.10, 6.3 and 15 of the Midland Plants 1 and 2 FSAR for c:moleteness, using the guidelines specified in the Regulatory Guide 1.70, Revision 2, " Standard Fomat and Centent of Safety Analysis Reports for Nuclear Power Plants". This license acclica-tion does not presently orovice adequate infor ation for us to ccmoiete an in-depth review. Enclosure 1 orovides a list of that infomation wnich must be suomitted in time for us to comolete our Round One ouestiens.
We sugcest sucmittal of acclicant res;:enses at least fcur weeks prior to the Round Cne due date would ce sufficiently timely. Our acceptance of docketing is contingent en this commitment by the acplicant.
