Incomplete The Reactor Systems Branch has reviewed the applicant's FSAR through Ameadment 10. Althcugh EG&G conducted the Round One review, RSB has conducted a " backup" Round One review of the FSAR, in addition to a review of tne Round One ~questien responses. The applicant has not yet responded to the Rcund One questions on cold shutdown reouirements and pipe break cor. sequences (211.35 and 211.83). They state that these responses are due in Septemaer. We will review these responses and forward positions as soon as ;cssible. Sucn late submittals create the usual conflicts with other schedulec reviews, in this case, Erie. Based on the pricrity list cistributed by DPM, we are assuming Midland takes precedence. Additional cuestions/ positions may result from our secondary review responsibility to branches that have not yet completed their review. Acprcximately 30 percent cf tne enclosed questions required interaction with other branches. Also, we have not yet reviewed the final Technical Specifications but will do so when available. Our Second Rcund questions are enclosed.
