actions have been taken by VEPCO and are c2:pected to provide addi-

tional assurance that possible significant itc=s are reviewed:

Cc:munications have been improved between the people responsible

for incura. ice matters and those responsible for plant operations.

2.

A particular staf f ae.:ber has been assigned to work with the

Cysten Nuc1 car Safety and Operating Cc=ittee.

A key function

of this individual is to keep the committee inferned to essist

in identifying catters which the cotrittee should review.
