This refers to the letter from T. D. Perkins dated February 7, 1979 regarding the undetected entry of an NRC inspector into the protected area of Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station, Unit 1, Scriba, New York at 8:35 p.m.,
February 6,1979 and to the telephone conversation between you and Mr. J. M. Allan of this office on February 14, 1979.
With regard to this matter, it is our understanding, as a result of the February 14, 1979 telephone call, that all measures outlined in the referenced letter have been acted upon with the exception of Subsequent Action Items 2 and 3 which will be completed by February 16, 1979.
It is further understood that written confirmation of the completion of Items 2 and 3 will be made to this office.
It is also our understanding that you will take the following additional actions:

JZB 15 $9 In addition, as discussed in the February 14th telephone conversation, it is requested that a meeting between tiiagara Mohawk and f1RC, Region I be held at the King of Prussia office of Region I on February 20, 1979 to further discuss the circumstances of this incident and the corrective actions taken by fliagara Mohawk.
If our understanding of your plcnned actions as described above is not in accordance with the actual plans and actions being implemented, please contact this office immediately.
