Operating License DPR-50 Docket Ilo. 50-289 Honroutine 10-Day Report Th-01 This letter and the attached enclosure are submitted to you as Nonroutine 10-L'ay Report 74-01 pursuant to Three Mile Icland Unit 1 Technical Specifications (TMI-1 T. S.) section 6.7.2.a.2.
It provides the infcr-metion required by TMI-l T. S. section 6.7 2 for three incidents which occurred at our Three Mire Island liuclear Generating Station, Unit 1 (TMI-1), on September 5, 6, and 7,1974, that involved the unplanned release of radioactivity frc= the l'iscellaneous Wacte Evaporator Feed Tank and associated piping.
It should be noted that we infor:ed the Directorate of Regulatory C; era-tions Recion 1 Office of the abcVe incidents on September 6 and 9; an:
at that time ve classed the incidents ac reportable under secticn 6 7 2.b.2 (30-day report).
Subcequent review of the incidcnts in question, however, has resulted in our deciding that it vould have been torc appropriate for the additional infor:..ation to have been subcitted as a Nonroutine 10-Dcy Re.rort in accordance with TMI-l T. S.
