In response to our letter dated November 17, 1976
Gentlemen:

"' hank you for informing us of the corrective and preventive actions you
documented in response to our correspondence.
With respect to the corrective actions taken to avoid further items of
noncompliance, we understand that the Plant Superintendent has reiterated
to the Mechanical Department Supervision the need to follow station
procedures.
Furthermore, we understand that during periodic high

maintenance work loads, the insoection of fire supervision equipment
is to receive sufficient priority to assure that the inspection

schedule is met. This understanding was reached in a celephone
conversation between Mr. Potts of your staff and Mr. Spessard of this
office on December 22, 1976.
