Confirmation of Concurrence This letter refers to a telephone conversation on July 9, 1979, between J. R. Wells of your staff and J. C. Bryant of this office in which we concurred in your plans and schedule for restoption of work on drains and filters in the Nuclear Service Water Dam.
This concurrence is based on your letter dated July 9, 1979 and to discussions with J. Harris of this office on July 5-6, 1979 at the Cherokee site.
During the telephone conversation, Item 2 was further clarified to mean that no new work would be done on the covered blanket drains until the additional density testing and evaluation is reviewed by NRC:RII.
