PILGRIM NUCLEAR POWER STATION - CORRECTION OF ERROR IN DOCKET NUMBER ASSOCIATED WITH ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT NO. 249 RE: ORDER APPROVING DIRECT TRANSFER OF RENEWED FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE AND INDEPENDENT SPENT FUEL STORAGE INSTALLATION GENERAL LICENSE AND CONFORMING AMENDMENT (EPID L-2018-LLO-0003)
Dear Mr. Oneid and Ms. Cowan:
By letter dated August 27, 2019 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML19235A050), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Amendment No. 249 to Renewed Facility Operating License (RFOL) No. DPR-35 for the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station (Pilgrim). The NRC staff issued Amendment No. 249 as a conforming amendment in support of the staffs approval of the direct and indirect transfer of Pilgrims RFOL and the general license for the Pilgrim Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI).
Subsequent to the issuance of this amendment, the NRC staff discovered that an error was made in referencing the Pilgrim ISFSI docket. Specifically, on page 2 of the transmittal letter for the Pilgrim conforming amendment contains the following typographical error (emphasis added in bold):

P. Oneid and The NRC staff has determined that this error was inadvertently introduced and was entirely editorial in nature. The correction does not change any of the conclusions in the SE associated with the issuance of Amendment No. 249 for Pilgrim and does not affect the associated notice to the public.
