r-This letter is in reference to your August 3 license application for the export of components for the Philippine Nuclear Power Plant

We have reviewed the two lists of components attached to your applica-

tion and have detemined that the components listed on Exhibit A,
" Balance of Plant Equipment Only", are not specially designed or prepared for use in a. nuclear reactor. These components am therefore not subject to NRC's export licensing authority and may be exported under a Comraerce Department general license.
Unless advised otherwise, we will continue processing the balance of your license application under nomal review procedures.
