Insurance costs (limited to annual insurance premiums and indemnity fees payable in accordance with the Price Anderson Act)
Annual insurance premiums are $270,000 to cover liability claimes of $95 million through the Nuclear Energy Liability Insurance Association (NELIA), and indemnity fees under the Price Anderson Act of $76,000 to cover additional liability insurance costs for the No.1 unit at the Three Mile Island Nuclear Plant. These costs were included in the Staff's benefit cost analysis.
