We offer the following response to the apparent Item of Noncompliance in the referenced inspection report.
NOTICE OF VIOI.ATION A. As required by Technical Specification 6.8.1, in part, " written procedures shall be established, implemented and maintained...".
Crystal River Plant Operating Quality Assurance Manual Cnntrol document AI-400, states, in part, "5.2, All data or calculation sheets which are portions of a procedure must be completed while the task is being perforiued. Each data sheet shall be initialed and dated by the person or people taking the data and approved by the responsible supervisor...".

- 1. & 2. Revisions to SP-135 and SP-102 incorporating appropriate initial /date blanks will be issued by 1 January 1980.
Until the revision is Implemented a careful review of each of the data sheets will be performed to prevent recurrence.

- 3. Concerned personnel have been instructed to inittal and date a'll worksheets that accompany completed Surveillance Procedures.
- 4. SP-317 has been revised to include initial /date blanks.
Subsequently performed procedures are properly filled out.
The data sheets to Plant Surveill.uice Procedures will be reviewed and those lacking initial /date blanks will be revised. The proposed revisions will be implemented by 1 January 1980 and compliaia will be achieved.
