Your letter dated October 12, 1979, in response to our letter dated August 30, 1979 regarding sample splitting for the special environ-mental monitoring program at the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station.

As discussed in a telephone conversation between Mr. J. J. Kottan of this office and Mr. T. Sowdon of your staff on October 29, 1979, the following sample sizes are rec,. red:

Irish Moss - approximately enough air dried Irish Moss to fill one 8" x 10" x 10" box.

Lobster - whole lobster (s), a minimum weight of one pound.

Fish - whole fish (es), a minimum weight of one pound.

Shellfish - both the meat and liquor, a minimum weight of one pound.

We will contact Mr. T. Sowdon to discuss and arrange for sample shipment.

The samples should be shipped to:
