Tests and Cp ations in Progress - Leak rate determination with solid 3 stem with operation on "A" makeup purp indicates 3.3 to 0.9 gpm leakage from primary system.

Solid coeration will continue.<ith a change to the 3 makeup ourp.

Leak testing on A ;HR Icop is in progress with 3 ;HR loop being drained for gasket replacement on #1ange.

The epoxy grout ing concect 'as been abandoned. An apparently success #ul test with snrink #ree ce-ent grout will need to be redone Mondav because o# a problem with the test procedures.

Containment air sample taken 5/11/79 at 22h3 hours.

Sarple results are in Attachment 4 but sample appears to have leaked. Another sample was requested.

Radwaste group is developing history on oost-accident liquid releases to date.

Environmental Measurements 1.

NRC of fsi te ground survey data showed all beta-gama and gamma levels at 0.02 nr/hr.

Grass sarples at Hof fer Park and Goldsboro were less

than 10 4 and less than 6 x 10-5 uci/m2 1-131 respectively.

3 Air samples results ay various locat{gns around the site ranged from 1.2 x 10~

to 3.2 x 10 ' uci/nl of I-131.

All other federal agencies reported no positive environmental results.
