This office has received a copy of your Technical Specification Change Request No. 38 dated June 26, 1979, which you filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (0NRR) for review and approval.

The request proposed modificaticns :o the safety injection actuation system logic for Beaver Valley Unit No.1 (Facility License No. DPR-66).

Your application was accompanied by a Class II amendment fee of $1,200 because you concluded that it was pro forma in nature.

Based on guidance from the JNRR staff as a result of their review of your applicaticn, it has been determined that your application involved consideraticn of a safety issue which requires a Class III amendment fee of $4,000.

Therefore, it is requested that an additional $2,800 be forwarded to this office.

This constitutes the 0,'iRR staff's final determination on fees for your Change Request No. 38 which they approved as License Amendment No.19 to DPR-66 on July 17, 1979.
