DUKE'S RESPONSE TO INFRACTION 50-413/79-06-01 This infraction concerns the failure to identify, record and evaluate the defects remaining on the concrete containment dome pour number 32.
As a corrective measure, the entire exterior surface of dome pour number 32 was reinspected in accordance with the criteria established per nonconforming item report 5252.
All areas requiring repair were also completed as instructed by the resolution of nonconforming item report 5252.
To avoid further nonccmpliance, responsible individuals have been instructed in the importance of following the instructions as detailed on nonconforming item reports.
Full compliance was achieved April 30, 1979.
DUKE'S RESPONSE TO DEFICIENCY 50-414/79-06-01 This deficiency concerns litter and debris located on a platform which partially covered Unit 2 refueling canal. The area in question was cleared of litter and debris to meet good construction site housekeeping practices as required by a Zone VI area.
To avoid further noncompliance, responsible individuals have been in-structed in the importance of naintaining designated zones to the proper housekeeping requirements.
Full compliance was achieved April 10, 1979.
