Dear Mr. Saverot,

Holtec herewith submits responses and supporting information to the RSI letter issued by NRC staff [1], in response to Holtec's application for Model No. HI-STAR ATB 1 T Type B(U)-96 Transportation Package [2].

Responses to NRC staff questions are in Enclosure 1 to this letter. Enclosures 2 and 3 contain supporting calculations information, considered proprietary by Holtec. Therefore Enclosure 4 to this letter is an affidavit prepared in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 requesting that Enclosures 2 and 3 be withheld from public disclosure.
