Dear Mr. Lundvall:
By letters dated February 12 and 16,1979, you documented the assumed credit for operation of a charging pump in the Small Break Loss of Coolant Accident (LOCA) analysis and corrective actions taken until appropriate reanalysis was completed. A commitment to submit such reanalysis for NRC revicw was given in subsequent discussions between our staffs. This reanalysis was submitted by letter dated March 13, 1979.
We have completed our evaluation of your ECCS Small Break LOCA reanalysis with no credit taken for charging pump flow and find it acceptable es documented in the enclosed Safety Evaluation.
