APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Carolina Power and Light Company License Nos. DPR-62 Brunswick 1 and 2
& DPR-71 Based on the NRC inspection August 29-31, 1979, certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below. These items have been categorized as described in correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
As required by 10 CFR 50, Appendix B, Criterion XI and ANSI N18.7 (1972) as implemented by Brunswick Plant Operating Manual Volume XI " Quality Assurance",
test results are required to be evaluated and approved and out of specification test results require correction.
Contrary to the above, the inspector's review of PT 1.1.12PC " Reactor Protection System - Main Steam Line Hi Radiation" disclosed certain data sheets with discrepancies that had not been identified by the licensee's review process.
This is a deficiency. A similar item was brought to your attention in our letter dated March 9,1979.}2 S,* ab 7911120 [d [o}}
