Dear Mr. Reed:
This is in response to your letters wherein ycu reported the results of a recent se~ismic reanalysis of the reactor coolant piping at Zion Station Units 1 and 2 using an updated version of the WESTDYN code which uses an absolute sum technique.
On the basis that the reanalysis was conducted with both an approved method and acceptable results, we consider this matter resolved, and are closi~ng out this action item.
A copy of our safety evaluation addressing this matter is enclosed.
