Dear Mr. Jones:
This is in.response to your letters of April 27 and May 21, 1979, wherein you reported the results of a recent seismic reanalysis of the reactor coolant ~iping at H. B. Robinson Unit No~ 2 using ari updated version of the WESTDYN code which uses an absolut~ sum technique.
On the basis that the reanalysis was conducted with both an approved method and icceptable results, we consider this matter resolved, and are closing out this action item. A copy of our safety evaluation addressing this matter is enclosed.
