In Reference 1, Louisiana Energy Services (LES), dba URENCO USA (UUSA), requested an amendment to its Safety Analysis Report to allow UUSA to feed UFe greater than 0. 72 wt %
235U, but less than 1 wt% 235U. A License Amendment Request is necessary to implement this change as it requires NRC approval in accordance with SNM-201 O License Condition 30.
Based on the Reference 2 acceptance review and discussions with a member of your staff, UUSA is withdrawing the request at this time. If you have any questions you may contact Wyatt Padgett, Licensing and Performance Assessment Manager, at 575-394-5257.
