Pursuant to a telephone conversation with your Mr. G. A. Belisle and our Mr.

J. W. Martin, Jr. on August 11, 1981 concerning NRC Audit Report Nos.

50-280/81-15 and 50-281/81-15 the following request is hereby being submitted:

Since the NRC and Vepco have a management conference scheduled to discuss, in part, the subject audit report, we request the due date for our response be extended to one week after the conference, Our response is presently scheduled for August 21, 1981 and the conference for August 25, 1981. The extension requested would require that the response be due by September 1, 1981. We will proceed on this basis unless directed otherwise.
