APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Virginia Electric and Power Company Surry Nuclear Power Station, Units 1 and 2 APR 1 8 1980 License Nos. DPR-32 and DPR-37 Based on the NRC inspection March 10-14, 1980, certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full compli&nce with NRC requirements as indicated below.
These items haye been categorized as described in correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
As required by 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, Item IV.Hand Section 7.1.1 of the Surry Nuclear Power Station Emergency Plan, periodic training shall be provided to all facility personnel.
Moreover, Technical Specification 6.4.D requires in part that emergency procedures shall be maintained and followed.
Emergency Plan Implementation Procedure 21 requires, in part, annual retraining for all facility personnel.
Contrary to the above, four of five individuals designated as emergency directors had not received annual refresher training during the period August 8, 1978 to March 11, 1980.
This is an infraction.
