Combined Inspection Report No. 50-272/89-23 and 50-311/89-21
This letter refers to the routine inspection conducted by Mr. W. Oliveira of
this office on September 12-15, 1989, at the Salem Generating Station Units 1
and 2 in Hancocks Bridge, New Jersey.
Mr. Oliveira discussed the results of
the inspection with Mr. A. Orticelle at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selected examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
