Systematic Assessment of Licensee Performance (SALP)
The NRC Region I SALP Board has reviewed and evaluated the performance of ac-
tivities at the Salem and Hope Creek Generating Stations for the period of
January l, 1988 - April 30, 1989 *and January 16, 1989 - April 30, 1989 respec-
tively.
The results of the assessments conducted on June 28 and July 12, 1989
are documented in the enclosed Initial SALP Reports.
A meeting to discuss
these assessments has been scheduled for August 15, 1989 at the Artificial
Island stte in Hancocks Bridge, New Jersey.
At the SALP meeting, you should be prepared to discuss our assessments and your
plans to improve performance.
This meeting is intended to be a dialogue where-
in any comments you may have regarding our report may be discussed. Addition-
ally, yotl may provide written comments within 20 days after the meeting.
