GB Slade General Manager REVISED INSERVICE TESTING OF PLANT VALVES PROGRAM AND SELECTED SAFETY RELATED PUMPS Consumers Power Company letter dated October 2, 1989 confirmed to the NRC our intent to conform with Generic Letter 89-04. Accordingly, please find attached revisions to EM-09-02, "Inservice Testing Of Plant Valves" and EM-09-04, "Inservice Testing Of Selected Safety-Related Pumps."
Also attached is EGAD-PROJ-17, "Valve Test Table And Valve Reference Flow Rate" which outlines the Palisades Plant pump and valve Inservice Testing (IST) Programs.
These changes have been incorporated into our existing program.
For your convenience we have included summaries of the changes to EM-09-02 and EM-09-04 and copies of piping and instrument diagrams referenced in the attached documents.
These revisions are submitted for NRC approval in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.55a(g)(4)(iv). This submittal supersedes our previous valve testing program submittal dated March 13, 1991 and our previous pump testing program submittal dated February 28, 1990.
