WITHDRAWAL OF AMENDMENT REQUEST (T~C NO. 42130 )'
By letter dated April 30*, '1985, Consumers. Power Company applied for an amendment to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-20.
The proposed change would have modified the Appendix A Technical Specifications pertaining to the d~eratton of shutdown pumps and heat exchanger during refueling. That application was partially reviewed but was found to require.additional changes to be acceptable.
Consumers Power Company, in its response to Generic Letter (GL) 88-17, committed to submit an amendment request which also wou.ld address shutdown cooling operation. That application would replace and supersede the April 30, 1985 application *. Your letter of March 29, 1989, indicates.tha~ it is necessary.to.
delay submission of the application in:response to the Generic Letter for ninety days to about June 30*, 1989.
Your letter also requested withdrawal of your April 30, 1985, application, since it will be replaced by the *app.lication in response.to GL 88..;17.

By letter dated April 30, 1985, Consumers P.ower Company applied for an amendment to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-20.
