ENGINEERED SAFETY FEATURE (ESF) FILTRATION SYSTEM Attached are three (3) originals and thirty seven (37) conformed copies of a Request for Change to the Palisades Technical Specifications.
Consumers Power Company letter dated August 30, 1982 requested various changes to the Palisades Technical Specifications with respect to the (ESF) filtration system.
The requested changes were necessary in order to achieve closer conformance to the Standard Technical Specifications.
Recent telephone calls between Consumers Power Company and the NRC have concluded, however, that additional changes are necessary to our August 30, 1982 submittal in order to make it complete.
This letter provides those necessary revisions and additions.
The proposed changes involve a single safety issue.
A check in the amount of
$4,000.00 was attached to our August 30, 1982 letter pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22, Class III change.
Therefore, a check does not accompany this letter.
