Due to the symmetry of the feed-water lines and the nearness of the containment access to the B steam generator, the f eedwater piping connected to the B steam generator will be tested for a water hammer. Test will be conducted at 200 psi and 900 psi on secondary side~

. s.o PROCEDURE 5.1 Establish pressurizer level at 50% and put pressurizer level control in local with set~oint at 50%.

5.2 Insure all charging pumps are in auto.

5.3 With motor driven aux feedwater pump P-8A on, use MSIV-CV0501 bypass valve lllMS and CV0736A to adjust B S.G. level to 45%. -* - .

5.4 Adjust A S.G. level to 50% using MSIV~CV0510 bypass valve llOMS and CV0737A.

5.5 Isolate A S.G. by closing llOMS and CV0737A *. Adjust llOMS and CV0737A to keep B S. G. at 45%.

5.6 Stabilize PCS at 382°F or*532°F aepending on whether S.G. 200 psi or 900 psi test is being done.*

5.7 Close CV0736A and adjust lll~o -~ 4:.. . to 15% while main-taining primacy system te'~~~~ a: alue of Step 5.5.

5.12 Repeat Steps 5.3 - 5.11 for new matrix values upon consent of Test Engineer and Shift Supervisor.

NOTE: *Prior to consent, Test Engineer.will evaluate data from previous test and compare with acceptance criteria.
