ES-401 Record of Rejected K/As Form ES-401-4 Tier / Randomly Reason for Rejection Group Selected K/A T1/G1 007EA2.03 007EA2.03 cannot write discriminating question at the SRO level for SRO this K/A. K/A lends itself to items an SRO expected to verify on a reactor trip. Thus, not at an SRO knowledge level.

Chief examiner supplied K/A 007EA2.01, Ability to determine or interpret the following as they apply to a reactor trip: Decreasing power level, from available indications, as a replacement.

T1/G2 RO 032G2.2.25 032G2.2.25 cannot write discriminating question for this K/A. No tables/graphs apply to emergency boration. Information of various boron concentrations between sources to interpolate via old graphs are now incorporated procedurally as a number of gallons per source; either the BAT or RWST.

Chief examiner agreed to K/A change to 032G2.1.20, Ability to interpret and execute procedure steps.as a replacement.

T2/G1 RO 012A2.06 012A2.06 conflicts with ATWS event in Scenario 17-4.

Chief examiner supplied K/A 012A2.03, Ability to (a) predict the impacts of the following malfunctions or operations on the RPS; and (b) based on those predictions, use procedures to correct, control, or mitigate the consequences of those malfunctions or operations:

Incorrect channel bypassing, as a replacement.

T2/G2 071A2.08 071A2.08 Cannot write a question for current K/A without testing SRO minutia low in discriminatory validity. Requested new K/A. Michael suggesting remaining with K/A remaining within 071A2.02 T2/G1 RO 062A2.03 062A2.03 Cannot write a question for current K/A without testing minutia low in discriminatory validity. Requested new K/A 062A2.04; Ability to (a) predict the impacts of the following malfunctions or operations on the AC distribution system; and (b) based on those predictions, use procedures to correct, control, or mitigate the consequences of those malfunctions or operations:

Effect on plant of de-energizing a bus.

T2/G2 RO 067AA1.05 067AA1.05 Cannot write a discriminating question for current K/A as actions similar across all ventilation systems. Requested new K/A 067AA1.06; Ability to operate and / or monitor the following as they apply to the Plant Fire on Site: Fire alarm.

T1/G1 RO 029EA2.04 029EA2.04 Question 8 and question 21, both overlap with CERT JPM CR-a. Although K/As differ 029EA2.04 (Q8), APE024G2.1.20 (Q21), 024AA2.01 (CERT CR-a); they all deal with Emergency Boration and include charging flow indication in question or performance. Requested new K/A 029EA2.05, Ability to determine or interpret the following as they apply to a ATWS: System component valve position indications

ES-401 Record of Rejected K/As Form ES-401-4 T1/G2 RO APE024G2.1.20 029EA2.04 Question 8 and question 21, both overlap with CERT JPM CR-a. Although K/As differ 029EA2.04 (Q8), APE024G2.1.20 (Q21), 024AA2.01 (CERT CR-a); they all deal with Emergency Boration and include charging flow indication in question or performance. Requested new K/A APE024G2.1.37, Knowledge of procedures, guidelines, or limitations associated with reactivity management.
