SUMMARY

OF SHUTDOWN EXPERIENCE FOR APRIL 1979 With exception noted below, the plant qperated at a nominal 97%

of rated thermal power during April.

Feedwater pump tripped due to spurious vibration trip signal.

The reactor tripped from low steam generator water level.

The outage lasted 67.0 hours0 days <br />0 hours <br />0 weeks <br />0 months <br />.

The trip was caused by a defective component in the voltage regula-tor that resulted in a generator loss of load condition.

An erratic voltage regulator (cause not yet known) resulted in a turbine trip.

The outage continues through this reporting period.
