DCN NO. T39817A PAGE 2 OF 9 BLOCK 16 (CON'I'INUED)

PROBLEM SOLUTION APPROVED CHANGE (INCLUDEBASIS FOR APPROVAL)

DCN T39817A includes the modifications to the USI A<6 Program outliers. Outliers from the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant USI AA6 Seismic Evaluation Report Rev. 0, Appendix G (R92 960624 850) are identified on the attached table (seven pages).

Modifications have been provided on the attached DCAs to qualify the identified A-46 outlier equipment to the applicable design criteria.

The connecting ofadjacent equipment/panels, the Diesel Generator (Unit 1/2) relay panels, Panel 0-9-23-8 to the 120V AC plant preferred distribution panel and the 250V Battery Charger 2A to 2B, was used to eliminate the interaction between them. Details shown on the DCAs. used similar vendor details found on similar panels thus, there are no calculations required for these changes.

Also, the breaker (4KVSHDN BD A, B, C, D) racking wrench was removed Rom the boards and hung low on the adjacent wall thus, the interaction was eliminated and no calculation was required.

These modifications have no effect on the pipe rupture evaluation.

No impacts or prerequisites are associated withDCN T39817A.
