Surveillance Instructions ran for RHR Loop inoperable in containment cooling mode.

Loop I of RHR verified operable.

A arcnt Cause of Occurrence:

Valve became electrically inoperable due to a broken gear tooth in the limit-

~ switch.

There was no damage to plant equipment.,

There was no activity release, no personnel exposure or in)ury and no danger to heath or safety of the public.

Corrective Action

The limit switch was replaced and set.

Valve was then returned to service.
