Carolina Power & Light Company hereby submits ten (10) copies of the "North Carolina Emergency
Response
Plan in support of the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant (SHNPP)," dated February 1984. The emergency plans for Chatham,
- Harnett, Lee, and Wake Counties are included as Annexes to the State Plan.
The 10~ile Emergency Planning Zone overlaps a portion of each of these counties. Copies of the North Carolina State Emergency Plan were transmitted to parties in the SHNPP Atomic Safety and Licensing Board hearings by separate letter dated February 28, 1984. Yours very truly, M.
