The Containment Spray System (CSS) design (Final Safety Analysis Report Section 6.5.2.2) incorporates a 100-second delay before the automatic opening of isolation valves on the flow path of the containment spray additive tank.
This is disallowed by the Standard Review Plan (SRP) acceptance criteria for Section 6.5.2.
Response
The 100-second delay before the opening of the isolation valves on the flow path of the containment spray additive tank has been deleted to comply with the acceptance criteria of SRP 6.5.2.
Final Safety Analysis Report Sections
- 6. 2.2, 6.5. 2, and 7.3.1, and Figures
- 6. 2. 2-1 and 7.3.1-3 will be updated in a future amendment to reflect this change.
