Dear Mr. O'eilly:

Per our Decembar 19, 1979, letter on the subject deficiency>> we informed you that out of a total of 192 defective hangers noted, approximately 68 had been reworked and reinspected and found to be satisfactory and that it was estimated that all corrective action on this item would be completed by January 31, 1980. The intent of this letter is to inform you that all corrective action has not yet been completed.

The current status of corrective action is that, to date, 129'efective hangers have been reworked and reinspected and found to be satisfactory.

Xt is now estimated that all corrective'ction will be completed by March 1, 1980, at which time the. final 10CPR50.55(e) report will be submitted. We will routinely keep you appraised of our pxogxess on this item during your site inspection visits.
