SUMMARY

Harris Unit 1 operated at 71.75 percent Availability Factor for the referenced month and a 63.89 percent Capacity Factor.

There were three significant power reductions in July and one reactor trip signal that was received while the-unit was shutdown.

Details are provided on the Unit Shutdowns and Power Reduction Sheets.

There are 157 fuel assemblies in the reactor vessel, 731 spent fuel assemblies stored in the Spent Fuel Pools:

413 of the spent fuel assemblies are BWR and were shipped to Harris from.CP&L's Brunswick Plant.

154 of the spent fuel assemblies are from CP6L's Robinson Plant.

In addition to the spent fuel, 60 new fuel assemblies were received from Westinghouse and are in dry storage racks.

A Method of Shutting Down Reactor'icensee Event Report 0'2-007 System Code 4 Component Code 5 XXXXXX Cause & Corrective Action to Prevent Recurrence Reactor trip after loss of condenser vacuum due to a ruptured LP turbine exhaust boot seal.

The ruptured potion of the boot seal was repaired by splicing in a new section at the failed area.
