Harris Unit 1 operated at 92.16 percent Availability Factor for the referenced
month and a 87.68 percent Capacity Factor.
There were four events.
Details are provided on the Unit Shutdowns and Power Reduction Sheets.
There are 157 fuel assemblies in the reactor vessel, 534 spent fuel assemblies stored in the Spent Fuel Pools.
342 of the spent fuel assemblies are BWR and were shipped to Harris from CP&L's Brunswick Plant.
Twenty eight of the spent fuel assemblies are from CP&L's Robinson Plant.

The trip was caused by the performance of a
surveillance test on I of the 3 loop transmitters.
The root cause was attributed to procedural and maintenance methodology.
The procedures were revised to prevent recurrence.
During the trip the "A" reactor trip breaker did not open on the auto trip signal.
The breaker was manually tripped by the operator.
